Pescarolos C60 restored at Funyo Racing

The Angebelle Classic workshop:

After 2 years of painstaking, unique work, a wonderful adventure comes to an end on the premises of car manufacturer Funyo Racing.

Behind closed doors, Romain Angebeau and his team worked on rebuilding 2 Pescarolo C60s entrusted to them by their owners.

The 1st Pescarolo was overhauled and put back on the road, to take part a few months later in the 11th edition of Le Mans Classic.

It was driven by Emmanuel Collard, who won the 1st race of the event. All this under the watchful eye of Henri Pescarolo, who also completed a few laps of the circuit in front of a passionate audience.

For the 2nd Pescarolo, the work was more intense. Many parts were missing from this carbon chassis. So Romain and his team started from scratch. Parts had to be designed and remanufactured exactly as they had been designed at the time. All this was done in-house at their workshop in Allonnes.

The beauties were delivered a few weeks ago to the renowned JMB Classic operating team to continue their racing history.

It was a superb experience for the whole team, who demonstrated their unique expertise on prestige cars.

Following this experience, a new entity is being created: Atelier Angebelle Classic.

Its activity will focus on the restoration of classic and prestige cars dedicated to the road as well as to racing.
