Sprint CUP by Funyo: Fouineau untouchable, Canivet and Rouèche all in power!

The second meeting of the Sprint CUP by Funyo season, held at the famous Paul Ricard circuit in Castellet, concluded spectacularly. The drivers delivered remarkable performances and thrilling races under a clear blue sky.

Xavier Fouineau (#24 HMC Racing) dominated the weekend brilliantly, winning all four races. Not only did he secure these victories, but he also clinched both pole positions and set three fastest laps in the races. His teammate, Jérémy Siffert (#54), showcased his consistency by finishing in second place three times, highlighting HMC Racing's dominance.

Nicolas Robin (#69 DAFA Racing) shone with two podium finishes, once again demonstrating his talent and determination. Sean Canivet (#7) from L’Écurie Française also made his mark on the podium twice, while his teammate Hugo Roueche (#96) made a great comeback to secure a podium spot in the final race.

In the Challengers category, the competition was just as intense. Nicolas Robin and Étienne Champetier (#64 AMGV) each secured two victories. Jean-Christophe Robin (#277 DAFA Racing) climbed onto the podium twice, confirming his consistency. Edoardo Elia (#33 L’Écurie Française) and Fabien Bornancin (#99 Kairos Racing) also made appearances on the podium. Dekel Samuel Naar (#49 LVR) proved to be the most consistent, with three podium finishes to his name.

In their return to the track, the Sciabbarrasi Compétition teammates, Marcel Sciabbarrasi and Christophe Peltier, each claimed a victory and a second-place finish. Cédric Gardin (#14 HMC Racing) demonstrated exemplary consistency, always near the front. Rémy Brouard (#78 HMC Racing) stood on the podium twice, while his teammate Jean-Claude Rolland (#28) tasted victory for the first time this season. Pascal Lecomte (#55 LVR) also had a strong performance by finishing on the podium. Dominique Arnoux (#83 AMGV) and Xavier Cousin (#206 HMC Racing) narrowly missed the podium, adding suspense to the race.

The Espoirs category witnessed a fierce battle between Jérémy Siffert, Sacha Clavadetscher (#95 L’Écurie Française), Hugo Roueche, and Sean Canivet. These young drivers delivered a captivating spectacle, overturning the podium order in every race, showcasing the promising future of motorsport.
