The Sprint CUP by Funyo promises exciting races in Gers!
For the mid-season, we’ll find the Sprint Cup by Funyo paddock at the legendary Nogaro circuit alongside the FFSA French Truck Championship.
After the success at Paul Ricard, the drivers are more motivated than ever to deliver an exceptional show for the 40,000 spectators present.
The General category is shaping up to be very competitive. Indeed, Xavier Fouineau (#24 HMC Racing) has dominated the championship since the start of the season. Close behind, Jérémy Siffert (#54 HMC Racing), always consistent, aims to secure the top step of the podium. But the competition will be tough with Jean-Christophe (#277), Nicolas Robin (#69 DAFA Racing), Hugo Rouèche (#96), Sacha Clavadetscher (#95), and Sean Canivet (#7 L’Écurie Française), all determined to rise to the top.
In the Challengers category, expectations are high for the Robin brothers (DAFA Racing). Along with Dekel Samuel Naar (#49 LVR), they have each secured victories in this category during previous races. Special attention should be paid to Edoardo Elia (#33 L’Écurie Française) and Fabien Bornancin (#99 Kairos Racing), who will be lurking in the background.
The Gentlemen category promises, as always, great spectacle. Cédric Gardin (#14 HMC Racing) and Rémy Brouard (#78 HMC Racing) will aim to repeat their previous successes, consistently being at the front. Jean-Claude Rolland (#28 HMC Racing), Pascal Lecomte (#55 LVR), and Livio Elia (#33 L’Écurie Française) will seek to claim victory. Notably, Olivier Gauclère (#23) and American Chris Coppeland (#201 HMC Racing) are making a big return.
The Espoirs will be in the spotlight with an intense battle expected between Jérémy Siffert from Team HMC Racing and the three Espoirs from Team L’Écurie Française: Sacha Clavadetscher, Hugo Rouèche, and Sean Canivet. Each race provides an opportunity for these young talents to showcase their potential and disrupt the established order.
Let’s not forget that at the end of the 5th round (Zandvoort) of the 2024 season, the leading Espoir driver in the championship will win a spot to participate in the Junior Programme Porsche Carrera Cup France 2024.
It's a great incentive for our young and talented Funyo recruits!
Join us from June 21, 2024, for a memorable weekend filled with adrenaline and passion.
