Zandvoort, a decisive stage!

Round 5 of the 2024 season is fast approaching for the 22 drivers in the Sprint Cup by Funyo. This time, it's on the legendary Circuit de Zandvoort that everything will come to a head. Nestling along the beaches of the North Sea, this spectacular track with its banked corners promises to deliver a breathtaking weekend of racing.

The stakes are high, especially for the young drivers in the Espoirs category. On Sunday evening, one of them will earn his ticket to the Junior Programme Porsche Carrera Cup France selections. For these up-and-coming talents, it's a priceless opportunity to join the motorsport elite and perhaps launch a professional career at the highest level.

This weekend, Jérémy Siffert (HMC Racing) could well take the lead, but he'll have to face up to the determination of Nicolas Robin (DAFA Racing) and Romain Boeckler (Loire Valley Racing). These three drivers will be vying fiercely for the four victories at stake this weekend.

The young talents of the Écurie Française are not to be outdone. Sacha Clavadetscher, Hugo Roueche and Sean Canivet have already tasted the joys of the podium, and are still aiming for the top step. Pascal Lecomte (Loire Valley Racing), Rémy Brouard (HMC Racing), Jean Claude Rolland (HMC Racing) and Sébastien Viale (HMC Racing) are all in contention for the podium, in a class where every race holds its share of surprises.

The return of reigning champion Frank Lefèvre (HMC Racing) and the presence of Chris Coppeland (HMC Racing), Yves Orhant (YO), Dominique Arnoux (AMGV) and Olivier Gauglère (HMC Racing) will only add to the spectacle.

Beyond the duels and strategies, the focus will be on the U23 drivers. Indeed, while Jérémy Siffert seems to be in a favourable position, Romain Boeckler is on the rise, and Sacha Clavadetscher, Hugo Roueche and Sean Canivet remain in ambush.
