eFunyo 2022: from virtual to real !

01-11th-2022

In 2021, more than 35 drivers entered for the e-Funyo Virtual Championship, which was followed live by 2.500 viewers when the race was broadcast on YouTube!
Still on the American platform iRacing with the technical backup of simulator agency The Cube managed by François Charneau, the TV broadcasts on YouTube will finally be hosted by famous presenter Benj’X from Belgium. The third virtual edition of e-Funyo will again be organised during the short 2022 winter break.
This new edition of the 2022 e-Funyo Grand Prix will be fought out on three virtual circuits – Imola, Barcelona and Spa – that the Funyo drivers will discover for real this season in the Funyo Super Challenge. Funyo a new player in Europe!

This new winter break series will take place on the following Sundays: 13th, 17th and 27th February 2022 with two races per meeting and a new organisation to enable everybody, simulator professionals and debutants in the virtual world, to find their right place on the track!
It will kick off with a 60-minute free practice session on Friday evening before getting down to the nitty-gritty on Sunday with the 2022 innovation – the qualifying race!
Sunday will begin with a 20-minute timed session in which the first 15 on the time sheets will be qualified directly for the no. 1 Grand Prix.
The other drivers will have to take part in a 25-minute qualifying race in which the first 10 will be admitted to the main event.
The 25 finalists (the 15 fastest times and the first 10 in the qualifying race) will compete in the day’s first 25-minute grand prix in the late morning. Grand prix no. 2 will be run on Sunday afternoon according to the same principal.

Schedule: It includes famous Italian circuit Imola as well as the Barcelona track, which the drivers in the Sprint Cup by Funyo will discover for real in 2022 during the European Le Mans Series meetings this coming May and August. And last but not least, Spa-Francorchamps that will be the theatre of the virtual final on Sunday 27th February. Note that this circuit will also host (this time for real) the final of the Endurance CUP by Funyo in October!
